FluidDrive was founded over 60 years ago in Melbourne and has grown into the automotive industry's leading and most recognised transmission remanufacturer. Today, the company remanufactures over 400 automatic transmission variants and torque converters with facilities in three states, supporting vehicles from the 1990s onward. FluidDrive’s well-established brand, commitment to quality, and customer-centric approach has forged strong partnerships with OEMs such as General Motors Australia and New Zealand, LDV Australia, Hyundai Australia and New Zealand, RAM Australia, Subaru Australia, Fiat Australia, Jeep Australia and Nissan Australia.

These partnerships have been established to deliver comprehensive support services, including transmission remanufacturing for in-warranty transmissions, root cause analysis, distribution, and logistics, all designed to provide cost-effective solutions.

As FluidDrive’s relationships with OEMs expand, retail transmission programs have been introduced in collaboration with these manufacturers as well as the transmission industry. These programs are designed to support dealerships in customer retention by offering high-quality, dyno tested, cost-competitive transmission replacements—both for vehicles beyond their warranty period and for in-warranty remanufactured transmissions.
